This dynamic executive language program, already widely used and highly valued throughout SIEMENS, deals specifically with the special communication challenges faced by non-native English speaking global executives on international assignments who must perform at demanding levels in the English language at the workplace. Executives communicate In English about complex business issues with increased, confidence, knowledge and skill and team up with top level linguists and business professors/consultants who will both prepare them for - and immerse them in - interactive, high-level discussions on the latest, as well as still relevant, business topics/issues. SIEMENS SQT has selected LEI as the delivery agent of this highly interative program for the USA. SIEMENS SQT LANGUAGE PLUS © Program will provide the non-native English speaking global executive with the communication competencies, confidence and skill she/he will need to perform at the most demanding levels. LANGUAGE PLUS © takes the participant beyond the standard Business English training and hones skills that sharpen one’s ability to maneuver about in the English language with increased ease and confidence that lead toward becoming a skilled communicator. Text Box: This course is designed to assist foreign students in preparing to participate in a hospitality and travel business atmosphere in which the English language is an important means of communication. The goal of the course is to provide language practice based upon readings and discussions which are pertinent to the hospitality and tourism industries. This will form the basis for activities in text analysis, classification, writing, oral and electronic communication, and the development and use of vocabulary. Included in the course are high-interest, interactive situations based upon actual business applications and internships at local nearby hotels.

LEI offers a specially customized program for Au Pairs which focuses upon American history and culture as well as improving the student’s conversational skills in English. Activities include student presentations on various topics and excursions to local sites of interest. Courses are designed around the special interest and needs of the students and topics may vary from Business English to American literature. The program consists of a combination of class time and outside directed independent projects. Upon successful completion of the program, students are awarded 1- 6 credits and a certificate based upon the total number of hours of participation.

Post-advanced Level Courses

Following completion of level 6, students may choose from a variety of exciting courses which include: Advanced Writing, Business and Conversation.  LEI prides itself on the high quality and flexibility of its programs and new courses based upon student request are offered on a regular basis.
